My first time dining here, and omg so so awesome!!! The atmosphere, service and food was top notch!! The server was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and made my decision (which was hard) a lot easier. We will definitely be back!!

This is my first restaurant in Kingston. I really like the style and taste of the restaurant. Maybe because there are only two of us, we can make a reservation an hour in advance. I am very happy! I will come again next time!

We were visiting Kingston on a Tuesday, showed up shortly after lunch hour and was not busy at all. The food was really good, we ordered three main courses to share and one appetizer, good portion for two persons.

Absolutely love this place! It’s such a unique dining experience in Kingston, and it’s worth every penny. I’ve been here three times so far, and each visit left me satisfied and happy. The atmosphere is romantic and cozy, with dim lighting and unique decor. The staff is wonderful—accommodating, friendly, and always making us feel welcome. The restaurant focuses on a tapas-style dining experience, where you get to try a variety of small dishes over the course of a meal. The experience can easily last 2 to 3 hours, as they bring out the food gradually. This allows you to savor each dish, enjoy different flavors, and have relaxed conversations without feeling rushed. They sometimes offer halal options, depending on their meat suppliers. Since their menu changes frequently, it’s best to ask your server which dishes are halal that day. They also have a great variety of vegetarian-friendly options, so there’s something for everyone. I’ve tried different dishes here, and my favorites so far have been the lamb tacos and eggplant dishes—though everything I’ve had has been fantastic. If you’re planning to share dishes (which is the whole concept of this place), here’s what we ordered to give you an idea of portion sizes: For two people, we ordered three dishes and a dessert, which was more than enough. Another time, we had just three dishes and left feeling very full. When I came with two friends (three people total), we ordered five dishes and were perfectly satisfied. I highly recommend this place! I don’t easily give five-star reviews to restaurants, but this one absolutely deserves it.

Tango Nuevo is hands down one of my favorite spots in Kingston! The tapas are incredible—everything we had was beautifully plated and full of flavor. We enjoyed the scallops, Turkish ravioli, AAA striploin with chimichurri, patatas bravas, a mushroom dish, and a chicken dish, and every bite was amazing. The atmosphere is romantic, cozy, and perfect for a fine dining experience. The service was wonderful, and the complimentary Prosecco at the table was such a lovely touch. I always love coming here—the food, ambiance, and experience are consistently perfect. No complaints, just an absolute must-visit in Kingston!

I visited this restaurant for the first time with my partner last week on April 26th and this was our experience! I can’t remember our server’s name but she was so sweet! She enthusiastically explained how the menu worked and frequently came to check on us after every round of food! Speaking of the food... it was amazing overall! We started off with a 4 piece charcuterie board, which was really good. The best meat was the sausage and the best cheese was the chateau. We then got the coconut curry cod and the Turkish ravioli! They were both really good but my partner’s pick, the cod, was definitely a favourite. We finished off our mains with the spicy beef tacos that my partner picked as I was starting to get full and these were very flavourful as well (I stole one of his). And finally for dessert, we got the creme brulee—it was one of the best desserts I’ve ever had! I don’t know what they put in it, but it was so rich and smooth. I’d definitely for back just to get it again! Finally, the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice. It was dimly lit and had nice lighting overall—perfect for a date or just a nice evening/dinner with friends/family! Would highly recommend!

This is a great place for a date night. The ambiance and service are great, but the food is exceptional. A little on the pricier side, but well worth it. The king oyster mushroom was by far our favourite dish, and the Persian BBQ lamb tacos & Thai curry cod were good choices as well. The peanut butter tiramisu was divine!

Very delicious food and friendly professional service. We made a reservation in advance and there was no wait. We ordered scallops, Turkish ravioli , Mediterranean eggplant and achiote chicken. All dishes were unique and delicious. Passion fruit sorbet was okay but nothing special. It was an expensive meal but worth it and so I highly recommend this restaurant !
